ATP Type Test and Inspection Center

Savaşlar Tesisat operates under the FRISAV umbrella in the Balıkesir Organized Industrial Zone, where our ATP Type Test and Inspection Center is located.
According to the ATP Agreement, which came into effect on May 15, 2017, companies involved in the international transport of perishable foods must use trailers with ATP certification. The ATP Agreement was created to ensure hygiene and quality standards during the transportation of food products.
The ATP certificate is a document that verifies that trailers used for food transportation meet certain standards. This certificate covers important requirements such as the insulation capacity of the transport vehicle, cooling systems, airtightness, and cleanliness. Thus, perishable foods are transported at the correct temperature and under hygienic conditions.
Although the ATP agreement covers international transport, it is a standard accepted by many countries. Countries that are parties to the agreement do not allow trailers without ATP certification to cross their borders and prohibit the use of non-certified vehicles for transporting perishable foods.
This regulation is made to ensure food safety and quality, reduce the risk of cross-contamination, and protect consumer health. Companies involved in the international transport of perishable foods must use trailers with the appropriate certifications and comply with these standards.
